COMPETITIVE NATURE

Indians have competitive nature in general, and when it comes to gaming, it’s the same situation. A game started for fun turns into a competitive war in no time, leading to players being toxic to others. A prime example of this is when I was playing CSGO with my friends. We were playing for fun; it was not even a ranked match; we were playing Deathmatch; some random players started making fun of us, and it quickly turned into a toxic game where everyone was playing to insult each other.

FAN BASE

Indian gamers whenever they have started liking or playing a single game. They become a koi toxic fan base and start insulting or hating other games. For example, in India, Freefire and PUBG mobile are very popular. However, the fan base of both games always makes salt make fun of each other, resulting in them being toxic to each other.

BGMI AND Freefire ban affected Indian Gaming Community because they were the famous face of Indian esports; this ban was not positive news for the creators exclusively producing content for this game. This led to a reduction in viewership on their channel. Many content creators manage their viewership by shifting to other games and providing their audience with different content like vlogging and challenges videos.

ANONYMOUS TROLLING

Anonymous trolling is a significant issue in the Indian gaming community. It can manifest as damaging, provocative, or offensive behavior targeted toward players, developers, and other community members. Trolls often hide behind anonymity to engage in conduct ranging from mild taunting to severe harassment, with the intent of causing emotional distress and disruption.

Anonymous trolling in the gaming community can take various forms, including in-game chat, social media, and forums. It can harm those targeted’s mental well-being and motivation, leading to a toxic and unwelcoming environment.
